Art bought for a very special reason gives an all new dimension to the expression of the artist and the emotion with which we at the receiving end experience that expression.
On saturday, may 20th, there will be a national benefit concert and fundraising telethon to express solidarity and collect aid for those countrymen and -women in the interior of Suriname who have fallen victim to floods.
5 of the artists represented by the Readytex Art Gallery have donated a painting to be put up for auction at the telethon to be held tonight.
