Motivated by the concept of Alakondre, Reinier Asmoredjo created this work to portray the mixture of various cultures, poured into one entity! ‘Wan brudu’ symbolizes the process on the way to that new entity. He included a red U-shaped link in the composition that represents blood. It connects the two women with each other, clearly indicating that they are ‘Wan brudu’ (one blood).
