In this intimate self-portrait, based on a photo made in a moment of intense sadness, Sri exposes a small, very personal part of her soul. In difficult times her art keeps her going, because she can then immerse herself in the things that make life special. Taking inspiration from her beautiful Alakondre Suriname, she uses patterns and elements from the different cultures in almost all of her artworks.
