Born and raised in Suriname, Paul Chang has undeniably been influenced by its lush tropical nature, and he considers it natural that he wants to visualize this in his art. While adapting to the times, he tries to give a modern twist to his works. He brings (organic) shapes and colors together to create harmonious compositions and uses his creativity and signature style to create his own personal portrayal of nature.
